Snow makes the cold worthwhile

It’s finally snowed! After a week of the weather forecast telling us it’s gonna snow it’s gonna snow it finally happened! On Sunday morning we put on ridiculous amounts of clothes, found our ski gloves and went out to play in the snow (and it snowed the whole time we were out!).

There were a lot of people walking their dogs in the park, this particular dog was super excited by the snow. She kept jumping around in the snow, eating mouthfuls snow and running into people. Then we heard a little burping sound and there was a puddle of doggy vomit in the snow. EWWW!! Too much excitement. Afterwards we went home and didn’t leave the house again until it was time to get fish and chips for dinner. Best day ever.

  1. It snowed in Paris as well and it was fun to see the city blanketed in the white stuff. Everything looked different. Obviously, as Canadians, the snow wasn’t such a novelty for us and we didn’t think it was that cold but it was still fun!!! (Suzanne)

    • Yes it was so cool seeing everything blanketed in white – I just checked out your pix of Paris and they are really cool. Being from Australia we were all super excited by the snow (and super cold).

  2. Ooooh fun fun! I’d love to spend a day like this in the snow. Can’t believe your stomach is showing though! You must be more acclimatised than you realise. If it was me, I’d have thermal layers tucked in deep so no chance of cold tummy. But then I am a sensitive sort in the cold!

    • hahaha you have seen my shame! I was so excited I didn’t notice until I saw the picture. It was actually quite warm when we first went outside and I was excited and running around so I stayed warm for a while. After an hour I started getting really cold though.
